I'm soooo excited about the future craft office. Scratch that. Not the future craft office, the ACTUAL craft office. It's come along so much the past week or so, I think it's time we take the "future" out of the name. Exciting times, right?!
A few days ago, my guy was all, "Hey, let's go check out the craft office and talk about what we should start doing for your shelving." Four hours later, we'd been to Lowe's, had some delicious pho at a new discovery (for us) called Janbo Cafe, and the shelves were up!
We got tracks, brackets, and various shelf lengths so we could be flexible and move things around until we knew what would work (or for when our needs change). My guy's idea, of course. He's kind of brilliant. (He is, but also I know he reads this, and I'm buttering him up for the future gift wrap station. I'm shameless.)
And so, here we are now! Ta da!
I'm getting so organized. We bought tons of those Sterilite® six quart containers for a buck each, and that's where I'm keeping art supplies, sewing supplies, etc.
We picked up the magazine holders (see first pic) for cheap at Ikea. Speaking of Ikea, don't even get me started on how adorable and awesome these little jars are – $5 each!
But my absolute favorite thing so far? The bulletin board tiles.
The bulletin board tiles were an extremely easy and fun project that I'll post about soon.
So what's next? Eventually we're looking at the gift wrap station (hi!) on the wall at the right, and a large shelving unit on the left. Oh, and the whole other side of the room, which I've been conveniently leaving out of the photos for a reason.
Progress takes time!
